Katerina Maniadaki

Katerina is a PhD researcher at King‘s College, School of Law. Her research examines the objectives and tools of regulatory intervention in the EU with respect to network neutrality and is conducted under the supervision of Prof. Roger Brownsword, Prof. Richard Whish and Mr. Peter Alexiadis. She graduated with a Bachelor‘s degree in law from the University of Athens and spent one year as an Erasmus student at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She also holds an LL.M. degree with distinction in European business law, with specialisation in EC competition law, from the University ofAmsterdam.
After finishing her studies, she worked at the Institute for Information Law in Amsterdam (IViR), where she participated in several research projects in the fields of electronic communications, media, Internet and intellectual property law. After that, she worked for one year as a case handler at the European Commission, DG Information Society and Media, Unit B5 - procedures related to national regulatory measures, dealing with the regulatory measures adopted across the EU under the Electronic Communications Framework.
She is a member of the Athens Bar Association.
Katerina ‘s interests lie in the fields of EC competition law, information and communications technology law, intellectual property law and regulatory policy.
